Matt celebrated the release of Red, White and The Blues on iTunes this week with an acoustic gig at The Bassment's Bitterscene club night in Chelmsford.
The five-song set was book-ended by Shine A Light On Me and Ain't Much Love In The City but there was plenty in-between with Small Talk including a snippet of Chas 'N Dave classic Snooker Loopy while Head In The Clouds (Matt's ode to public transport) broke out into the fab four's Ticket To Ride.
Rebel Yell Blues got another outing and, like last month's gig at Club Skinny, included another dedication to Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones. We think Matt must be reading Ronnie Wood's biography on the train in the mornings - If you can shed further light on this then get in contact with us at CM2 Records!

A debut album that soars on high with optimism for the recession generation - Three-minute guitar pop anthems that echo Oasis at their peak and The Verve's bittersweet swagger. Throw in a dose of Primal Scream electro and you've got a debut album to remember.
